AOL

AOL will probably take exception to the following analysis.

The AOL user interface and associated software is a bloated pig.  It uses a lot of your system resources and slows your computer performance.

It provides a subset of generally available Internet access functionality.  It provides a sheltered world with bloated software that gains you little in the way of usefulness.

The only reason to use the AOL software as your primary Internet interface is if you love the way it works and/or you aren't interested in learning a better way to experience the Internet.
